Located in the north of the Andaman Sea, Khao Lak captivates visitors with its long, untouched beaches and wild natural landscapes. Khao Lak at a glance
What I love about Khao Lak is the rare sense of calm that lingers in the air. For me, it's one of the best places to reconnect with what truly matters, whether you are visiting as a couple or with family. Here, you can enjoy endless wild beaches lined with coconut palms and stunning sunsets over the sea. For snorkeling and diving enthusiasts, it is the perfect destination thanks to its proximity to the Similan Islands.
While you are there, don’t miss a visit to the Turtle Conservation Center. Every year, the center rescues and protects hundreds of baby sea turtles before releasing them back into the ocean. You can take part in this unique and touching experience by helping release the baby turtles on the beach, an unforgettable moment that raises awareness about marine wildlife conservation. The center also offers educational visits to help you better understand the challenges of conservation and the efforts made locally to protect these endangered species.

WHAT TO SEE IN Khao Lak

What SEASON to go to Khao Lak?
The best time to visit Khao Lak is from November to April, during the dry season. The weather is sunny and warm but not stifling, with temperatures ranging from 25 to 30°C. It is the perfect time to enjoy the quiet beaches, go snorkeling around the Similan Islands, and explore the surrounding nature.
From May to October, the rainy season brings more frequent showers, often in the late afternoon. The sea can be rough and some water activities may be paused, but the landscapes turn a vibrant green. This is also a more intimate time to discover Khao Lak, with fewer tourists and more affordable accommodation.
