Krabi

Krabi is a must-visit destination in southern Thailand, renowned for its distinctive landscape. Nestled among towering karst formations, this region offers an escape between mountains and dreamlike beaches. It strikes the perfect balance for travelers who want to combine jungle treks with relaxing on idyllic islands. Add to that the presence of Buddhist temples, and you get a destination that truly has it all.

Adventure or relaxation. Jungle hikes or island hopping. Night markets or beach sunsets. Krabi checks all the boxes for the perfect holiday. Here are my favorite must-do activities:

  • Swimming at Railay Beach, to enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches in Thailand,

  • climbing the 1,260 steps to the Tiger Temple for a breathtaking view of the region,

  • soaking in natural hot springs in the middle of the forest,

  • sailing across the Andaman Sea to explore the Four Islands.

WHAT TO SEE IN Krabi

What SEASON to go to Krabi?

The best time to visit Krabi is between November and April, during the dry season. The weather is ideal with sunny days and pleasant temperatures between 28 and 32°C. The sea is calm, perfect for enjoying paradise beaches and exploring nearby islands.

From May to October, Krabi enters the rainy season. Temperatures remain warm, but more moderate, with more frequent showers, often in the late afternoon. But this is also a time when the landscapes turn a vibrant green, and the atmosphere becomes more peaceful, with fewer visitors and lower prices. A great alternative for those seeking a more authentic travel experience.
