Palawan
Nicknamed the "last paradise of the Philippines", Palawan boasts untouched nature, with turquoise lagoons, karst cliffs, and deserted beaches. From Coron to El Nido, passing through the tranquil waters of Port Barton, the island presents a diversity of landscapes, where the sea meets the jungle in an almost surreal harmony. Your itinerary could include exploring sea caves, diving among forgotten shipwrecks, and island-hopping through postcard-perfect settings. Palawan captivates visitors not only with its tranquility but especially with its exceptional biodiversity.
Palawan at a glance
If there is one place in the Philippines that perfectly embodies a love for the ocean, it is undoubtedly Palawan. Whether you are a certified diver or simply a lover of untouched nature, you will be amazed by the richness of its marine life. Here, the water is so clear that corals are visible from the surface, and just a few strokes of your fins can bring you face-to-face with turtles, schools of butterflyfish, or vibrantly colored giant clams.
This is a destination I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys spending hours in the water, exploring hidden lagoons. From Coron to El Nido and Port Barton, each corner of the island offers a distinct atmosphere, yet the same sense of wonder. Beyond the ocean, the island remains wild and unspoiled, with fishing villages and hidden waterfalls nestled within the jungle, a paradise still beautifully preserved.

What SEASON to go to Palawan?
The best time to visit Palawan is from December to May, during the dry season. The weather is warm and sunny, perfect for enjoying El Nido’s turquoise lagoons or discovering Coron’s underwater treasures. Conditions are ideal for boat excursions and water activities.
From June to November is the rainy season. Showers are more frequent, particularly later in the day, and typhoons can occur between August and October.
