What SEASON to go to Khao Sok?

Khao Sok National Park reveals all its splendor between December and April, when the dry season provides a perfect climate for jungle and water exploration. The days are sunny, trails are walkable, and the morning mist on the lake creates a magical atmosphere. It is also the ideal time for wildlife spotting!

From May through November, the rainy season sets in. Showers become more frequent, especially in the late afternoon, and some excursions may be limited. But it is also when the vegetation is at its lushest. Waterfalls flow at full strength, and the atmosphere feels wilder. Adventurous travelers often find a different, more authentic charm during this time.
