Koh Lipe

Located in the south of Thailand, near the Malaysian border, Koh Lipe is a tiny island nestled in the heart of the Andaman Sea. A gem for lovers of white sand beaches, turquoise waters, and snorkeling. It is also the only inhabited island in the Tarutao Marine National Park. Get ready to enjoy a real break, far from the crowds, where the only priority of the day might be spotting clownfish.

Koh Lipe at a glance

What I love about Koh Lipe is the simplicity of life there. The island is very small, around 2 km², so there’s no need for tuk-tuks, everything is done on foot. You can walk from one beach to another in just a few minutes.

And it is truly a little slice of paradise for travelers who love spending time in the sea. Here, you can spend hours in the water, with your mask and snorkel, watching the coral, colorful fish, and sometimes even turtles. Whether directly from the beach or from nearby islands easily accessible by longtail boat, enjoy unforgettable snorkeling sessions!
