Istanbul
Between Europe and Asia, between modernity and traditions, Istanbul constantly changes atmosphere depending on the neighborhood, the time of day, or even the side of the city you are on. What makes the city unique is not only its mosques or its immense history, but this permanent energy. A ferry crossing the Bosphorus, the call to prayer echoing between the buildings, simit sellers in the streets… You can spend days there without ever feeling like you have fully explored it.
Istanbul at a glance
Istanbul is probably one of the most fascinating cities in the world because it feels unlike anywhere else. What I love here is that you can go from an ultra-modern neighborhood to a street that seems frozen in time within just a few minutes. The city is huge and intense, but that is exactly what makes it feel so alive.
The best way to discover Istanbul is not to rush from one monument to another, but to take your time. Sit in a café by the Bosphorus, take a ferry between the two shores, get lost in the small streets of Balat, or watch the city light up from a rooftop at sunset. Istanbul is best discovered through the details and the unique atmosphere that can be felt throughout the city.

WHAT TO SEE IN ISTANBUL

What SEASON to go to Istanbul?
Istanbul experiences four distinct seasons. Spring (April to June) and autumn (September to November) are the best times to visit the city thanks to pleasant temperatures and an ideal atmosphere for exploring the historic districts and the Bosphorus. Summer is warmer and more lively, while winter offers a calmer atmosphere, sometimes snowy, giving Istanbul a completely different charm. Whatever the season, the city retains its unique energy between history, gastronomy, and local life.
