Day 1

Arrival in Hanoi

Welcome to Vietnam. Our driver will meet you at Hanoi airport and transfer you to your hotel in a private minivan. After settling into your room, set off for a city tour. Begin with a visit to the Temple of Literature, followed by the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, and the One Pillar Pagoda. Continue with a walking tour of the Old Quarter. The houses here are tubular in shape, narrow in width, and deep in length. You will stroll along the typical streets: Ma May, Hang Ma (votive objects), Hang Dong (bronzes), Hang Bac (silversmiths), and Hang Gai (silk). Several stops are scheduled, including the bustling Dong Xuan Market, Bach Ma Temple, and the ancient house at 87 Ma May Street. At the end of the day, enjoy a traditional water puppet show.
