Day 1

Arrival in Hanoi

Welcome to Vietnam. Our driver greets you at Hanoi airport and transfers you to your hotel in a private minivan.

In the early afternoon, experience life like a Hanoian from the 1950s as you tour the city center by cyclo. At the rhythm of the pedals, discover the bustling alleys of the Old Quarter and its 36 guilds, a place of unique charm and constant activity. Meet passionate artisans: tinsmiths, jewelers, shoemakers, confectioners, tailors, blacksmiths, ironmongers, and craftsmen of rattan or leather goods. Then, stroll around the Lake of the Restored Sword (Hoan Kiem), one of the city’s symbols, and visit the surprising Ngoc Son Temple, which seems to rise straight out of the lake’s waters.

Night in Hanoi.
